Serve at Mass
The primary way in which the follower's of Jesus celebrate the Lord's Day is through the participation in the Eucharist. This act of worship that is enjoyed by the entire parish requires the work of many individuals using their unique gifts and talents in serve to the parish and in worship to God.
Serve the Parish
While it is easy to think of the work of the church as only being on Sunday or during mass, the parish is a vibrant spiritual home in the community all of the time. St. Mark has a variety of ministries that serve the church and the parish members, and that offer opportunities to to serve and love God and one another throughout the week.
Serve the Community
In Matthew 25, Jesus uses a parable to teach His followers that in serving the people of their community, they are serving Him. Jesus cares deeply about the poor, the hurting, and the needy in the community, and He has given us the opportunity to serve them, and to serve Him.
