Missions Program
A variety of programs are sponsored through the generosity of St. Mark's parishioners.
There is a need that fits everyone's Time, Talent, and Treasures capability whether it
is serving food, building homes, or providing education assistance funds.
We sponsor Mission Trips to Chinle, Arizona where parish teens and adults assist in a Vacation
Bible School for Navajo children teaching them about God. At Hour Mother's House in
New York City teens and adults provide love, nurturing, and care to babies whose mother’s
have been incarcerated.
Our most significant undertaking is with Casa de la Cruz Mission in Anapra, Mexico.
St. Mark's education assistance provides scholarships for an average of 40 elementary
school through university level students. There is also the food assistance program
serving 63 families and the dental and medical assistance. And with the help of
St. Mark's and other U.S. mission groups, 4 homes are actually constructed each year
by mission volunteers.
