PASSPORT TO THE HOLY LAND
Following Jesus Every Day
Monday-Friday, July 16-20 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
This year St. Mark's Vacation Bible School will be held Monday
through Friday, July 16-20, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We will
board a plane each morning to visit the towns of the Holy Land –
Nazareth, Jerusalem, Capernaum, Bethlehem, Bethany – where we
will visit a carpenter shop, a synagogue, a Jewish marketplace,
and Mary and Martha's house.
- What was it like for Jesus to help Joseph in his
carpenter shop?
- Where did Jesus, Mary and Joseph shop?
- Where did Jesus go to worship God?
- Who were Jesus' close friends that He liked to spend time
with?
We will reflect on what life was like in the time of Jesus
through stories, music, games, crafts and food. It will be a week
to remember! Registration will take place in the Old Church after
all the Masses the weekends of July 7-8 and 14-15. Please call
Joyce or Virginia in the Parish office at 816-373-2600 if you
have any questions. Hope to see you this summer!
