Stewardship Committee

Stewardship is a way of life, a life style, a way of thanking God for all His Blessings by returning a portion of the time, talent and treasure given to us. The Stewardship Committee introduces and promotes Stewardship; works to develop and cultivate stewardship through the intentional, planned and proportionate giving of our time, talent and treasure; helps develop and share the stewardship vision with the parish; ensure that stewardship education and awareness is carried out throughout the year, etc. Members are selected/appointed.

Stewardship Happenings

  • The annual parish stewardship appeal moved to the Fall timeframe beginning in 2011. The ongoing theme is "Blessed By God, Called to Share" to reflect gratitude-based sharing.

  • For 2012, the Stewardship Committee is launching a communication program to inform and education parishioners about stewardship and the many works that your generosity supports. These communications will include:
    • A Monthly Newsletter: "Our Faith in Action" will be published monthly in the parish bulletin and posted on the stewardship website.

    • Quarterly Mailings to all households. These may include a quarterly stewardship update from Fr. Jim, the annual parish report, stewardship stories, and of course, the annual stewardship renewal mailings.

  • Other focuses for the Stewardship Committee include exploring ways to implement more planned giving initiatives, collaborating with the Building Committee on capital campaign initiatives for the Renovation Plan, and exploring different ways to welcome new parishioners into our community.
